I’m a writer, producer, and visual artist in Berlin.
My filmic work has been supported by BKM (Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien) and the Berlin Senatsverwaltung. I was a resident of the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, NY, a recipient of the 2023 Tin House Scholarship, and a 2024 artist-in-residence at the Headlands Center For The Arts. My essay film Forget Alberto For Now premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam, and won the WDR Prize and KFFK Narrative Award. My short story “Personal Hotspot” was a semi-finalist for the American Short(er) Fiction Prize 2025.
Currently the fiction editor at SAND Journal, and a producer at Deutsche Welle. I also teach creative writing workshops for the International Literature Festival Berlin. In an extremely distant lifetime, I was a journalist/photographer at the Wall Street Journal/Dow Jones, and an editorial assistant at the Financial Times.
I do draw a lot, and enjoy making things out of garbage.
